01/03 Friday2025 Taipei Lantern Festival—West District: 1/24-2/16! The Major Lantern, “Lucky Snake Dou Dou” has its impressive debut.
- The main theme of 2025 Taipei Lanter Festival is “Lucky Snake Comes”, and the major lantern will be displayed in Zhongshan Hall Plaza.
- The lantern festival period will be February 2nd to 16th. The display zones include MRT Beimen station to Ximen station and the expanding area of the praying wall of Nishi Honganji Temple.
- Besides the main lantern, there are four light zones, including: Ximen light zone, Zhonghua Rd. light zone, and Beimen light zone. Many domestic and international artists are invited to join the designs and creations of the lantern sets, such as Graffiti Artist, Menghan Qi, and Music-Traveler, Qiang Lin.
- Lanterns displays, photography contests and lucky drawing activities are all incorporated by nearby shopping districts and temples. Jointly, they make a variety of holiday atmospheres for visitors.
